Kanko believes that ending poverty begins with sustainable agriculture. We therefore provide consultancy services that support local farmers and communities in sustainable farming that is able to take them out of poverty. To this end, Kanko provides services on farmer group and Village Savings and Loans Associations formation; we conduct investment readiness assessments of farmer groups and cooperatives; we provide technical assistance on promoting sustainable agronomic practices to farmers and we connect farmers to funding and marketing opportunities and enables potential buyers and users of farm produce to locate the right farmers.  Through, our Sustainable agriculture unit, we partner with relevant institutions and CSOs to provide training and extension services to farmers and farmer groups. We link researchers to farmers, thereby promoting innovation and technological advancement in local farming.
